Disney Movie Frozen - Olaf Cookies

Well one good thing about the field trip to Washington DC
was that I got to see the movie Frozen...
It was absolutely precious!
Other than that...
The trip about did me in...
and I'm not joking one.single.bit...
I'm still recouperating and it's been a week...
I've decided field trips are not my thing anymore...
Especially when they require a 15 hour (or longer on the way up) bus ride...
Been there...done that...don't care to do it anymore...
There's no place like home!

American Girl Cheer Party Cookies

I just love American Girl...
I can remember when Goosie Girl got her first one in New York City...
I can also remember when the doll got her hair done in Los Angeles...
(I really can't believe I paid for that)
We've also been to the one in Chicago and Atlanta...
Even the hub didn't mind going...
Now all of them sit on a shelf...
Along with bitty baby and the twins...
All the accessories are in a tub...
It's so sad...
Goosie Girl says she is keeping them for her kids...
(I hope she doesn't have any boys)
So when I was asked to create these...
for an American Girl cheer party...
they conjured up a lot of good memories...
Time just flies!

Train Cookies

Well hello Friday!
How did you get here so fast?

The hubs is playing in a member/guest golf tournament with his dad...
Goosie Girl and I will be heading over tomorrow
to join in the festivities...
I'm excited to wear the new outfit I purchased at Ann Taylor...
I will get a lot of use out of it and it fits with my motto "quality not quantity"...
I can dress it up or down...a perfect addition to the wardrobe...
(since I purged everything after reading "Lessons from Madame Chic")
It will also be accompanying me on my field trip to Washington DC...
with middle schoolers...
You'll hear about that next week...
Have a great weekend!

U.S. Navy Cookies

I was so honored to make these cookies for an officer
retiring from the Navy after 25 years of service...
I have the utmost respect for the military...
as well as police officers & firefighters...
Protecting and serving day in and day out...
And let's be real...NOT for the money...
It disgusts me that they get paid so little for such great service...
And then you look at a sports figure/musician/actor...
and the amount they get paid for no selfless act...
So THANK YOU soldiers, police & firefighters for all you do for us!

Personalized Nautical Cookies

I made 170 of these pretties for a baby christening...
Mom wanted them personalized with the Greek version of the baby's name
hence Georgios...greek for George...
I love how they turned out...
